Kosovo businessman and Saudi national each win $1m in Dubai Duty Free draw; four others claim luxury vehicles
A businessman from Kosovo and a Saudi national have each become millionaires in the most recent Millennium Millionaire draw organised by Dubai Duty Free, while four other individuals have claimed luxury cars and motorcycles through the Finest Surprise promotion.
The draws took place at Concourse A of Dubai International Airport, further expanding the roster of global winners in the widely recognised Dubai Duty Free promotions.
Millionaire winners from Kosovo and Saudi Arabia
Liridon Selmani, aged 34 and from Kacanik in Kosovo, has made history as the first person from Kosovo to claim the top prize in the Millennium Millionaire promotion since it began in 1999.
Selmani’s winning ticket, number 4448, was bought online on 25 September and corresponded to Millennium Millionaire Series 560.
“This is an incredible surprise from Dubai Duty Free,” Selmani said. “I have been taking part in the Millennium Millionaire promotion ever since my first trip to Dubai in 2016, and I am overjoyed to have finally won.”
“With this wonderful news, my family and I are already planning another visit to Dubai very soon,” he added.
Mishari Aldukair, a citizen of Saudi Arabia, has also become a dollar millionaire, winning in Millennium Millionaire Series 561.
Aldukair purchased his winning ticket, number 0536, online on 2 October. He could not be reached for comment immediately after the draw, but is expected to be pleasantly surprised by his prize.
