UAE Forecast Shows Showers, Fog and Dusty Winds Across Emirates

Friday Outlook

Partly cloudy skies are expected on Friday, with a chance of rainfall in eastern areas. Convective clouds are likely to develop over the eastern districts in the afternoon, potentially bringing rain.

Saturday and Sunday Outlook

Fair to partly cloudy skies are forecast for Saturday, with the possibility of convective cloud formation during the afternoon accompanied by rainfall in some areas. Humidity is set to rise overnight into Saturday morning and again from Saturday night into Sunday morning, raising the prospect of fog or mist in coastal and inland locations. On Sunday, rain‑bearing clouds could develop over parts of the northern and eastern regions during the afternoon, with humid conditions expected overnight and into Monday morning, again increasing the chance of fog or mist.

Monday and Tuesday Outlook

On Monday, another round of afternoon showers is possible, especially in eastern and southern areas, as convective clouds develop. Mist may form in some coastal and inland areas overnight and into Tuesday morning.

Wind and Sea Conditions

Winds throughout the four‑day period are expected to remain generally light to moderate, occasionally strengthening with cloud activity and causing blowing dust. They are forecast to blow from the southeast initially, shifting to northwesterly later. Speeds are anticipated to be 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts reaching 45 km/h; from Saturday through Monday gusts could climb to 40 km/h. Sea conditions are forecast to stay slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
