Indian Expat in Sharjah Wins Dh5 Million in UAE Lottery Lucky Day Draw

Indian Expat in Sharjah Wins Dh5 Million in UAE Lottery Lucky Day Draw

Winner’s Profile

Kishore, a 59‑year‑old Indian expatriate living in Sharjah, has won Dh5 million in the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day draw.

How the Win Was Secured

He used the “Easy Pick” option to generate his numbers and purchased the ticket for Dh50 through the lottery’s official platform. The draw took place on Saturday, October 3, and he matched all six numbers in the “Days” section, securing the second prize. The live draw on Saturday evening turned what began as an ordinary lottery entry into a Dh5 million prize.

Reaction and Statement

Initially doubtful, Kishore said he could not believe the news when he saw his name reported as a winner. After checking his account he confirmed the result. He is quoted as saying, “I saw my name in the news, but I couldn’t believe it was me. Then I checked my account and realized it was true!\”

What’s Next for Players

His win marks the latest second‑prize success in the Lucky Day game since its rollout across the UAE. The game continues with a Dh30 million grand prize still available. Lucky Day draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9.30 pm, and tickets can be purchased via the UAE Lottery’s official website. The lottery emphasises a safe, transparent and regulated experience, overseen by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). Players can visit the website for ticket purchases, draw information and the applicable terms and conditions.
