Strengthening bilateral ties

Sheikh Maktoum welcomed the Prime Minister and underscored the warm relations and friendship between the two nations, reaffirming their shared dedication to deepening bilateral ties. He reiterated the UAE’s commitment to forging strategic partnerships rooted in constructive cooperation, and to seizing opportunities emerging from shifts in the global economy to bolster sustainable development, investment and trade.

Focus on key sectors

The discussions centred on avenues for expanding collaboration in critical areas, including financial services, logistics, technology and the digital economy. The meeting highlighted the complementary strengths of Dubai and Singapore as global hubs for commerce, finance and business, and their common emphasis on innovation, investment and the development of future-oriented industries. These attributes, officials noted, enhance their roles in connecting markets, facilitating trade and capital flows, and generating opportunities for greater economic integration. Both sides also explored how to leverage their respective expertise and capabilities to reinforce economic links and broaden cooperation between government institutions and business communities.

Longstanding partnership

The UAE and Singapore share a robust bilateral relationship that has steadily deepened over the years.
