Emirates Skywards brings back Mile-A-Minute bonus for Dubai visitors

Emirates Skywards, the loyalty programme jointly operated by Emirates and flydubai, has relaunched its Mile-A-Minute promotion, allowing members to collect one bonus Skywards Mile for each minute they spend in Dubai, up to a maximum of 7,200 bonus Miles.

The limited-period offer coincides with Dubai’s winter season of festivals, events and outdoor activities, providing international visitors with an additional incentive during holidays or stopovers. First introduced in 2021, the initiative returns this year, enabling members to earn extra Miles on top of those already accrued from eligible Emirates and flydubai flight tickets.

How the Mile-A-Minute offer works

Emirates Skywards members who register and purchase a qualifying return flight with Emirates or flydubai between 21 October and 5 November 2026, and travel between 21 October and 13 December 2026, can earn one bonus Skywards Mile for every minute spent in Dubai. The bonus is calculated based on the scheduled arrival and departure times in the city and will be credited automatically after the stay.

The offer applies to all cabin classes and fare types on both airlines. Members can earn up to 7,200 bonus Skywards Miles, which corresponds to a five‑day visit. The minimum stay required is 24 hours and the maximum stay is 30 days. Participants must reside outside the UAE and register for the offer through emirates.com, the Emirates App, flydubai.com or other designated channels by 5 November 2026.

Earning Miles beyond the clock

In addition to the time‑based bonus, Emirates Skywards members can accumulate Miles through the programme’s extensive network of partners across Dubai. Hotel stays at Atlantis The Palm qualify for Skywards Miles, while cultural and desert excursions booked with Arabian Adventures allow members to earn or redeem Miles on selected safaris and sightseeing tours.

Shoppers can collect Miles on eligible purchases at The Dubai Mall, which houses a wide array of international brands, dining venues and entertainment attractions. For everyday spending, members can download the Skywards Everyday app, link up to five payment cards and earn Miles at hundreds of participating outlets in the UAE spanning dining, shopping, wellness and leisure.

Redeeming rewards and how to participate

Skywards Miles can be redeemed for flight tickets and upgrades on Emirates and flydubai, hotel stays and exclusive experiences through Skywards Exclusives. Members can also use Cash + Miles to lower the cost of a next flight or on the Skywards Rail network across Europe.

To take part, members must register for the offer by 5 November 2026, book a return flight originating outside the UAE between 21 October and 5 November 2026, and travel to Dubai with a stay of at least 24 hours and no more than 30 days between 21 October and 13 December 2026. Non‑members can join the loyalty programme free of charge and then register for the promotion before the booking deadline.
