UAE Capital Markets See Licensed Entities Jump 43% as Combined Value Reaches AED 3.7 Trillion

Market Value Reaches AED 3.7 Trillion

The milestone was reached as the Securities and Commodities Authority (CMA) reported a 43% rise in the number of licensed companies during the first nine months of 2026. The regulator also noted growth in licensed professionals, investment funds and overall capital-raising activity over the same period.

Regulatory Strengthening Drives Growth

The CMA attributed the expansion to its ongoing efforts to tighten oversight, bolster investor protection and refine regulatory frameworks. The authority said these measures have helped create a more robust environment for market participants and supported the broader development of the UAE’s capital markets.
