With 50 days remaining before the 2026 Formula 1 season concludes on Yas Island, Ethara’s chief executive said the finale preparations are proceeding as planned and suggested the event could surpass last year’s record-breaking attendance.

“In terms of readiness, we’ve never been more ready,” Al Noaimi said and added: “We are in a strong position from a delivery point of view. We are on track, as we have been every year, and this year is no exception.”
He spoke at a press briefing at Yas Marina Circuit today alongside Ethara’s Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer David Powell and the circuit’s General Manager Ali Al Beshr, who provided an update on ticket demand, race-week preparations, hospitality and entertainment.
Race Schedule and Transport Link
The Grand Prix is scheduled for 3-6 December, with race week beginning on 2 December, and Ethara announced it is collaborating with Etihad Rail to create a direct link for fans travelling from Dubai and Fujairah.
