UAE aid convoy reaches Gaza via Rafah Crossing under Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge
Food aid dispatched under the Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge, a joint effort of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and Operation Galant Knight 3, has arrived in the Gaza Strip through the Rafah Crossing to help Palestinian residents meet basic needs, with the goal of delivering over ten million meals in memory of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Aid enters Gaza via Rafah Crossing
According to Al Rish, the consignment was provided under the bridge programme, carried out by MBRGI together with Operation Galant Knight 3, and crossed into Gaza at the Rafah Crossing to support the Palestinian population and address essential requirements.
Link to aid flights and meal target
The shipment follows a series of aid flights that departed from Al Maktoum International Airport and forms part of the broader initiative to reach the bridge’s objective of supplying more than ten million meals to Gaza’s inhabitants, a tribute to Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s humanitarian legacy.
Preparation at Al Arish logistics centre
The Operation Galant Knight 3 team stationed at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in the Egyptian city of Al Arish prepared, loaded and transported the aid to the Rafah Crossing, continuing efforts to assist Palestinians and ease their suffering.
Community event in Dubai
Earlier, MBRGI collaborated with Operation Galant Knight 3 to host a large‑scale community humanitarian gathering at the Dubai World Trade Centre where meals were prepared; the event drew wide public participation and reflected the UAE’s entrenched values of generosity, giving and solidarity.
